The SOS (Survivors of Suicide): Community Care Sessions
The SOS (Survivors of Suicide): Community Care Sessions are a peer-led initiative developed in response to community need, aimed at bringing together individuals who have struggled with suicide personally or have experienced suicide loss. Each session will include optional discussion topics and prompts, but the bulk of our sessions will include an Indigenous model of sharing called the ‘Circle of Voices’. Through compassionate conversation and storytelling, these sessions offer an accountable, healing space for those impacted by suicide to gather, share, and grow together.
These sessions are intended for those who have been personally affected by suicide, whether through the loss of a loved one, experiences of suicidal ideation, or survival of a suicide attempt.
