Caregiver Connections
Being a caregiver to someone experiencing mental health challenges can sometimes feel lonely or isolating. Caregiver Connections is a welcoming space to connect with others who understand the experience of caring for a loved one, while remembering that you are a person first—not just a caregiver.
Co-developed and co-facilitated by peer support workers with lived experience, this five-session course offers opportunities for caregivers to share, reflect, and learn from one another in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Together, we will explore what caregiving means to each of us, how to navigate competing priorities and conflicting feelings, and how to make space for our own needs, identities, and lives alongside our caregiving role.
Each session is offered as a stand-alone session, so you can choose to attend one, several, or all five sessions based on what feels right for you. There is no expectation to share personal experiences—come as you are, connect at your own pace, and discover that you are not alone.
